As of February 9, 2022, the Diocese of Ontario has entered the REVISED AMBER STAGE with regards to parish openings. The Diocese of Ontario will return to the “Local Option” which allows the wardens and incumbent/priest-in-charge to determine if they wish to return to public worship in their buildings. Those churches who wish to continue solely online may do so with the support of the diocese.

In summary, for all church services, and for the use of church facilities:

  • All persons present must be masked, at all times, 
  • Capacity is limited to the number of people who can be accommodated with physical distancing OR 30% of normal capacity, whichever is less. 
  • No congregational singing permitted. 
  • Social time (coffee hour, etc.) is not permitted.
  • In person meetings are limited to 10 people (indoors) or 25 people (outdoors).
  • Regular office operations can resume, with self-screening, masking, and physical distancing.
