The Reverend Sandra Hounsell-Drover (“Reverend Sandra”) graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland with a Bachelor of Arts and from Queen’s College in St John’s Newfoundland with a Master of Divinity. She has also achieved several Certificates in Pastoral Ministry.
Having served a number of parishes in the Dioceses of Eastern Newfoundland, Western Newfoundland, Nova Scotia & PEI, and Fredericton, she was most recently the Rector of the Parish of Langford and Colwood (Church of the Advent) in the Diocese of British Columbia. She truly brings a “Coast to Coast” experience in her ministry.
A passionate and creative liturgist, Sandra also brings a wealth of experience in a range of ministries and committees in the dioceses she has served.
Sandra is the proud mother of two boys, William and Peter, and is married to LCdr Rev. John Hounsell-Drover, a Chaplain with the Canadian Armed Forces.
For many thousands of years, the Anishinaabeg, Haudenosaunee and Huron Wendat Peoples have sought to walk gently on this land. We seek a new relationship with the Original Peoples of this land, one based in honour and deep respect and we thank them for their hospitality.
