2026 Offering Envelopes. Parish Council Meeting. Longest Night Service

St. Mark's Anglican Church, Barriefield
St. Mark's Newsletter for December 12, 2025
2026 Offering Envelopes

2026 Offering Envelopes

Many people have picked up their 2026 Offering Envelopes.  There are still a few to be picked up, so if you didn't get yours yet, they are waiting for you.

It has come to my attention that some people have received a different envelope number from previous years.  This does not affect our accounting or tax receipts in any way. In 2026, please make sure to use your new 2026 envelopes/number only.

If you have any questions, please, ask Susan Evans or email her at susan.dunbar55@gmail.com.

Longest Night Service

Longest Night Service

Wednesday, December 17

Plan to join us on Wednesday, December 17 at 7:00 p.m. for our Longest Night Service.  A time and space for quiet music, prayer and reflection.

This gathering is for any who find the holiday season challenging:

  • for those who carry pain and loss juxtaposed with celebration;
  • for those who are unsettled by bright lights, loud music, and over-activity;
  •  for those who are exhausted by the festive and often hectic atmosphere;
  • for those who find a compelled busyness has overshadowed a holy season
  • or overwhelmed any simple joy it might bring.
