Thank You to AllFrom the Pies Galore committee, we wish to thank everyone who kindly baked and donated pies for our Pies Galore sale on October10. This was the first such sale held near Thanksgiving weekend and was a success with a variety of pies. Folks were lined up before 11am and all pies sold in 30 minutes! If we hold this event again we will be looking for twice as many pies next time! Thank you again to all.
Further thanks is expressed to everyone who kindly donated the beautiful harvest items and/or helped to decorate for St Mark's Thanksgiving display. The Altar and Chancel flourished with colourful flowers, fruits, vegetables and decor to express our gratitude and thanks for the many blessings we have around us. Thank you to Andi for organizing, and to everyone who participated.

Help NeededWe are still looking for a volunteer willing to take on this task for the month of December. All that's involved is taking the garbage and recycling bins from the back of the parish hall down to the bottom of the driveway on Main Street on Monday afternoon/evening. And then returning the empty containers on Tuesday. A trolley is provided to assist with the transfer. If you (or your teenage children) would like to take on this task, or if you would like more details, please contact Melody in the church office (613 546 3386). |
