Sunday, January 19

This Sunday will be our monthly collection for the Kingston Partners in Mission Food Bank.  Donations can be left at the back of  the church. For example:

  • Money * (your dollars contribute to higher purchasing power)
  • Canned meat & fish
  • Peanut butter, jam
  • Stews, canned tomatoes
  • Baby food, formula, diapers
  • Pasta, pasta sauce
  • Cereal
  • 100% Fruit juice

* We have special envelopes for those wishing to donate financially.  Cheques should be made payable to the Partners in Mission Food Bank.

Anglicanism 101 Course

Anglicanism 101 Course

Monday, January 20

Come and take part in this seven session program and explore the rich history and diversity of Anglicanism.

No prior study or knowledge is needed, only a curiosity and desire to gain deeper insights into the Anglican tradition.

Sessions start at 5:00 pm with a meal and end at 7:30 pm.

This week's second session will revolve around the question: "Did Henry VIII create the Anglican Church?"

Sessions will take place at St. Mark’s Parish Hall, Barriefield.

Wednesday, January 22

Parish Council will meet in the Parish Hall at 4:15 pm for its regular monthly meeting.

Parish Council meetings are open meetings and members of the congregation are welcome to attend.

Approved Minutes of previous Parish Council meetings are available at the Parish Office, upon request.

St. Mark's Book Club will be meeting at the home of Alan Rumsey at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, January 28, to discuss the book "Churches: A Time to Die – Hope for New Life" by Anthony Gifford.

We look forward to Anthony joining us for these discussions.
