A young Greg Laurie (Joel Courtney), being raised by his troubled, alcoholic mother Charlene (Kimberley Williams-Paisley) meets charismatic hippie street-preacher Lonnie Frisbee (Jonathan Roumie) and Pastor Chuck Smith (Kelsey Grammer) who have thrown open Chuck’s declining church to a stream of wandering youth. Rock and roll, newfound love and a twist of faith turns a counterculture movement into a revival that changes the world.
