Our Annual Vestry Meeting (AVM) will be held this Sunday, February 23.

Come and take part in this seven session program and explore the rich history and diversity of Anglicanism.

Sessions start at 5:00 pm with a meal and end at 7:30 pm.

This week's session will revolve around a question:"What Holds The International Anglican Communion Together?"

Sessions will take place at St. Mark’s Parish Hall, Barriefield.

We will hold  quiet, contemplative evening prayer on the last Wednesday of the month.  We will gather at 7:00 p.m. for a time of scripture, reflection and prayer. 

St. Mark's Annual Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper, cooked by the men of the parish, will be held on Tuesday,  March 4, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. 

Please bring your family and friends for delicious pancakes and sausages, coffee/tea/juice and dessert.  A free-will offering will be greatly appreciated.  Proceeds will go towards our Tower Restoration Project. 

We will begin our Lenten journey with Ash Wednesday service beginning at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, March 5.  We will meet in person for the Imposition of Ashes and Holy Eucharist.  (This service will not be live-streamed. )

Please join us for a time of prayer, proclamation, and penitence.

St. Mark's will be holding its annual Parish Council Retreat Day on Saturday, March 8 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, in the parish hall.

All Saints (2017) is based on the true story of sales executive-turned-priest Michael Spurlock (John Cornbett of TV’s Northern Exposure), rector of a tiny, dying Anglican church in Smyrna, Tennessee who has been ordered to shut it down. If he successfully completes this task he will be rewarded with a prestigious position in a church in a large city. Instead, he attempts to save the church, as well as a group of Anglican Karen refugees from Myanmar who have recently joined the congregation.

Please join us at Kingston’s smallest cinema, the St, Mark’s Parish Hall, for this PG-rated show, on Saturday, March 22 at 3:00 pm.

Admission and snacks are all for a free-will offering to benefit St. Mark’s.
