Movie MatineeTomorrow, Saturday, February 15 at 3 pm Starring Joel Courtney, Jonathan Roumie, Kimberley Williams-Paisley, Anna Grace Barlow and Kelsey Grammer, 2023’s “Jesus Revolution” tells the story of the spiritual awakening that took place in Southern California in the late 1960s and early 1970s. A young Greg Laurie (Joel Courtney), being raised by his troubled, alcoholic mother Charlene (Kimberley Williams-Paisley) meets charismatic hippie street-preacher Lonnie Frisbee (Jonathan Roumie) and Pastor Chuck Smith (Kelsey Grammer) who have thrown open Chuck’s declining church to a stream of wandering youth. Rock and roll, newfound love and a twist of faith turns a counterculture movement into a revival that changes the world. Please join us at Kingston’s smallest cinema, the St, Mark’s Parish Hall, for this PG-rated show, on Saturday, February 15 at 3:00 pm. Admission and snacks are all for a free-will offering to benefit St. Mark’s. |
