Starring Joel Courtney, Jonathan Roumie, Kimberley Williams-Paisley, Anna Grace Barlow and Kelsey Grammer, 2023’s “Jesus Revolution” tells the story of the spiritual awakening that took place in Southern California in the late 1960s and early 1970s. A young Greg Laurie (Joel Courtney), being raised by his troubled, alcoholic mother Charlene (Kimberley Williams-Paisley) meets charismatic hippie street-preacher Lonnie Frisbee (Jonathan Roumie) and Pastor Chuck Smith (Kelsey Grammer) who have thrown open Chuck’s declining church to a stream of wandering youth. Rock and roll, newfound love and a twist of faith turns a counterculture movement into a revival that changes the world. 

Please join us at Kingston’s smallest cinema, the St, Mark’s Parish Hall, for this PG-rated show, on Saturday, February 15 at 3:00 pm.

Admission and snacks are all for a free-will offering to benefit St. Mark’s.

Snow is forecast from Saturday afternoon through Sunday. If the weather conditions are such that the 10:30 am Worship Service is cancelled, an email notification will be sent out no later than 8:45 am on Sunday morning.

Regardless of weather conditions, there is no 9:00 am service this Sunday.

This Sunday will be our monthly collection for the Kingston Partners in Mission Food Bank.  Donations can be left at the back of  the church. For example:

• Money * (your dollars contribute to higher purchasing power)
• Canned meat & fish
• Peanut butter, jam
• Stews, canned tomatoes
• Baby food, formula, diapers
• Pasta, pasta sauce
• Cereal
• 100% Fruit juice

* We have special envelopes for those wishing to donate financially.  Cheques should be made payable to the Partners in Mission Food Bank.

Although the church office will be closed on Monday, February 17 for Family Day, the Anglicanism 101 Course will continue in the evening, in the parish hall.

Session starts at 5:00 pm with a meal and ends at 7:30 pm.

This week's session will revolve around a question: "Can You Be Anglican And An Evangelical? A Liberal? A Charismatic?

Our Annual Vestry Meeting (AVM) will be held on Sunday, February 23, 2025

We will hold  quiet, contemplative evening prayer on the last Wednesday of the month.  We will gather at 7:00 pm for a time of scripture, reflection and prayer.

Many of you may have noted, that we have recently introduced a process for registering for future events, in particular those events where payment is required.

For those events requiring payment, two alternatives are offered:

1. Payment in advance, by credit card, at the time of registration (preferred) 
2. Payment at the event, by cash or cheque (credit cards not accepted)

You may be interested in how this process works, and how the funds received are deposited into our bank account.

Payment in Advance (preferred)

• Payments automatically deposited into the church bank account the following day (minus a small processing fee).

Payment at the Event

• A volunteer will be assigned to collect payments at the event.
• At the end of the event, all payments received will be counted and totalled, ideally by two volunteers not from the same family.
• A Deposit Slip will be prepared to deposit the funds into our bank account.
• A volunteer will take the Deposit Slip, cash, and cheques to the Bank of Montreal, in downtown Kingston, to deposit the funds into our account.
