Food Bank CollectionThis Sunday will be our monthly collection for the Kingston Partners in Mission Food Bank. Donations can be left at the back of the church. For example:
* We have special envelopes for those wishing to donate financially. Cheques should be made payable to the Partners in Mission Food Bank. |

Evening PrayerWe will hold quiet, contemplative evening prayer on the last Wednesday of the month. We will gather at 7:00 pm for a time of scripture, reflection and prayer. |

Orange Shirt DaySeptember 30 marks our National Day of Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day. The day honours the lost children and survivors of residential schools, their families and communities. We will commemorate the day during our worship time on September 28. For worship that day you are invited to wear orange as a sign of remembering, solidarity, and commitment to seeking healing. |

SewhateverThe sewing group of St. Mark's members (called 'Sewhatever') will not be resuming their Monday afternoon gatherings this term. Instead we ask that members who like to sew will continue to do so at home with the ACW Bazaar in mind. We can also offer a variety of fabric, stored in the cupboards in the church hall, for projects you may have in mind. Please ask Jeannette or Heather or the office if you want to have a look through.
