Community Food DriveSt. Mark's Church is holding a Community Food Drive this Saturday from 10 am to 12 noon. All proceeds will go to The Partners in Mission Food Bank in Kingston. Please bring your donations (cash and cheques also accepted!!) for drop-off at the church steps.
At this time, the most needed items (in ranked order) are:
feminine hygiene products; personal hygiene products (toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant); baby food, baby formula and diapers; canned meat and fish, peanut butter and jam, canned stews, canned tomatoes, rice and pasta, cereals, tea, coffee and sugar. NOTE: Empty one-dozen egg cartons are also appreciated. |

Harvest ThanksgivingWe have started to collect goods to be used for our Harvest Thanksgiving Celebration. We are looking for seasonal decorations: (i.e. pumpkins, gourds, corn stalks, straw/hay); seasonal produce; well wrapped baking; and flowers. You can drop off your offering to the Parish Hall during office hours or at the Church before Saturday, October 11 at 10:00 am.
If you can help with arranging the decorations, please plan on being at the church on Saturday, October 11, at 10:00 am.

Frontenac Regional ACWThe annual meeting of the Frontenac Region Anglican Church Women (ACW) will be held at St. Mark's Barriefield on Wednesday, October 15. Registration will start at 9:00 am. Coffee, tea and snacks will be available. Holy Eucharist will be celebrated at 10:00 am by Bishop William Cliff. The guest speaker will be Travis Blackmore, the founder and CEO of Lionhearts Inc. The cost is $20 per person. Pre-registration and pre-payment is required no later than Thursday, October 9. St. Mark's members can register/pay at their regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, October 7. |

Car Rally and Scavenger HuntSt. Mark’s annual scavenger hunt/car rally will be held on SATURDAY, 18 October 2025. Lunch will be served at 12 noon at St. Mark’s Church Hall and then staggered departures starting at 1PM. All types of cars are eligible, especially classic cars!! This rally is not designed for speed but for a fun, social time with friends and family, enjoying the route and the beautiful autumn scenery around us. Proceeds go to St. Mark’s Church Tower Restoration Fund. Thank you very much for participating in our community events. |
