Harvest ThanksgivingSunday, October 12 This Sunday, October 12, is our Harvest Thanksgiving service. As usual, we try to decorate our church to reflect the season and the occasion with fresh vegetables, fruit, potted flowers (that donors can take home after the service), corn stalks, or anything else that provides colour and represents the spirit of thanksgiving. If you have not already done so, parishioners are asked to bring their decoration contributions to the church today Friday, October 10. Please stop in to see Melody and she will usher you into the church with your contributions. We need a few volunteers to help ‘decorate’ and distribute our contributions around the church. Church will opened for decorating at 10 am Saturday and the job will be completed before noon. Please help if you can. All the food donated for decorations will end up at the food bank. If you have any questions, please contact Ted Davie. |
